"Only boys who save their pennies
Make my rainy day..." Madonna, Material Girl
Yesterday was my first date with Mr. S. I was off to a rough start and running late. I overslept, it was rainy and icky so I had no clue what to wear and there was traffic. Luckily I knew what to buy, I ran to a dept store and bought a drape vest with sleeves and then stopped at my fav boutique to buy a neclace and earrings to add color to my dark and casual outfit. He called and said he was stuck in traffic, which was fantastic. I had to refresh my makeup and take a few mins to get the jitters out. Mr S took alot longer than I expected (45 mins!) but I understood, he does business and lives almost an hr from me, and went window shopping downtown. I got a few looks from some guys so I felt really confident in my outfit selection. Shame I bought this really expensive cocktail dress last week and haven't had a chance to use it yet! But a lunch date is way more comfortable and I felt pretty safe. This one place sold old Super Nintendo games I was soo excited I had to buy a couple, then quickly shove them in my purse so Mr. S won't think I'm a geek.
He gets there before I do and texts me "Blue shirt at the window table." Oh gosh I sure hope he's decent looking (he only had his pic up on the site for a brief moment.) The place I chose is an upscale place I'd only been once before on a real date. Not many guys I date can afford this place, even for lunch. He sees me and smiles. Nice blue eyes, my first thought, then I see a lil pudginess but not enough to persuade me otherwise. He wears a baseball cap and a polo, I can tell he's a laid-back kinda guy. I'm overly smiley, it was like I couldn't control myself, I don't think I've ever been this nervous. I'm usually confident in every situation and charm everyone but I was like "how the fuck am I gonna pull this one off?!" He's drinking a beer, so I take that as my okay to have a drink, hell I'd take anything to calm down right now! He seemed just as nervous as me.
We start chit chatting and the part that makes me the most nervous is when he asks what I do, "Oh so you're a student?" he asks curiously. "Well actually I'm trying to go to school, I missed the deadline on my financial aid," (true story) I reply, embarrassed. He seemed okay with it, no school no job, but trying is better than nothing right? He's in the car business and that's pretty much all I'll say about that. The only thing that really worried me was that we hadn't discussed all the terms of the arrangement before like I had with the others (but they didn't work so maybe this is a good sign?) S wants someone to be there for him, listen to him talk and vent to, listen to him play the piano, relax in the hot tub with, and go out to eat with. He loves food. He lightly addresses the subject of intimacy. I blush as he says, he's a guy and yeah he wants it. He's willing to wait, I tell him I'm a lady, and he says that's fine - whew! He tells me about his kid and I tell him I have a son. This is what I thought could break it. To my surprise, he didn't mind at all! Actually, I think it made him want to help me even more! As we eat and talk, I can tell he likes me, I've got this in the bag now. This is where it gets good. He asks what bills I have and what's my goal for this allowance. S says he wants me to use it wisely, as he really wants someone to help that's in need (yes please donate to The Foundation of Broke-Ass Sugar Baby). I tell him next semester I want to be in school so I'll need to pay for tuition, he says oh we'll take care of that, what else? I need a car. I tell him I have some money saved. He says, no we'll get you a little BMW to drive around til I get my credit straight and then he'll get me one permenantly. SAY WHAT?!?! Hells yeah! I tell him I want to pay off my student loans and my credit card. Then he asks if $3k is a good amount, monthly, plus shopping and outings. Of course, I giggle, I feel all warm inside. That's really all I need, and I'm not greedy. Our bill is almost $200, he pays with $300. The waitress is like uh okay, and I'm sure she knows what's going on here (could it be he stopped talking everytime she walk over?) She comes back with the change and is all like "Um so all we had was 5's I'm so sorry!" He gives her a hefty tip and then orders a gift card for $100, hands it to me and tells me to take my girls and tell them about the wonderful time I had with him :) :) :)
We walk to his car, so he can "give me an incentive," as I tell him I haven't totally made up my mind yet. His BMW is parked right in front of my old ugly POS! I'm sooo mortified, please ignore my car! I get inside, and omg is his car nice, but of course. He asks what bills I have right now, I tell him about my overall expenses again and he's like "No I mean right now." I say well there's the student loans, $200 is placed in my hands, and he asks how many I say 2, another $200, then I tell him the etc, he keeps giving me hundred as I blush and he throws in all those goddamn 5's because he doesn't want them in his pocket lol All in all, it was almost $700!! Honestly, I think I was blushing because I was getting wet just looking at the cash, I was seriously turned on thinking how I can finally pay off my bills, get my credit straight, and buy what I want. Is that bad? I've never been super materialistic or high maintenance, but I do love money, who doesn't? He wants to see me tomorrow because during the week he's so busy we might only meet once a week. I say yes and I'm so nervous. He asks for a kiss and he deserves it. No tongue, very innocent. He has small lips (mine are fuller, but not big) and his teeth are eh...which is sad, all those millions and bad teeth hmph. But really none of that really matters and as I drive off, all I can see is green on this rainy day :)

Gardening
So when I first started out I really underestimated the amount of men on these sites! I was on EM and SA and completely overwhelmed!! Too many requests, views, messages, etc it was ridiculous. Now that I've been out there for almost 3 weeks things have finally started to calm down (thank goodness)! I had to work on my time management skills...seriously. I accidentally scheduled 2 dates for today but luckily one of them flaked. But he (we'll call him King) did it in the worst way...he knew we had a coffee meeting for "late morning" and messages me on one of the sights saying he doesn't know why his email didn't go through...ha yeah right...cold feet or just chicken shit? Hmm...
Anywho I really feel like I'm gardening, and to be honest, I don't have a green thumb. How the hell am I going to figure this out? I plant seeds and wait for them to grow, but how do I know if I'm growing roses or pansies? Right now I'm just weeding.
On a different note...So my son changes the channel as I'm watching my soaps, I think its funny it automatically goes to Sprout channel (Sesame Street). Man he's smart! He's not even a year yet! And let me tell you, this channel is like crack for babies! Wait...am I not allowed to say that? Okay well call it catnip lol >.< Gosh I love him so much. This little man is so full of life and energy, I still can't believe he was premature :) And on that topic...I really need his child support check to come in so I can plan his birthday party!!! He's going to be one yrs old in about a month now and he must be spoiled :) I have some money saved but I'm really hoping to get another car here soon. My birthday is the week before his....and I'm really hoping to land a decent SD by then...I mean who doesn't like being treated like a queen for their birthay?? K I'm omw to the date we're going to a really nice place downtown I'll keep ya updated!!!

Karma
I was on another SB's blog and she brought up a good point - all the SDs that offer the really sweet sugar are married! And pretty good looking too if I might say so, but omg....do I feel guilty!! I really do want a real relationship one day and eventually get married...but I think these married SDs have better profiles than the separated or single ones! LOL I feel awful! But a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do! I've noticed alot interested in me and I'm really interested in one right now, yet he has been MIA lately. However, that little angel on my shoulder (clearly not the SB side) is telling me..."How would you feel if your *rich* husband is sleeping with some hot lil thing??" and...at this point I really don't care. If you think about it, even marriage can be a mutually beneficial relationship.
Not to sound contradictory, but I do believe in karma!
Guess I'll wait and see...if Karma's a bitch, she'll understand :)

Newness
Here goes my first entry! I guess I'm starting a blog because I need to talk about this lifestyle I'm ready to live. I've told a couple of close friends about becoming a sugar baby and I've gotten some mixed reviews. I tell them, "Look, I'm not a prostitute it's totally different. But if you want to think of me selling anything, it's my time, not my body." I really don't like to think of it as selling. What's the difference of going out with a guy or a boyfriend who pays for the date and buys you things?? I dated this one guy and sometimes still do. He is a good SD except without the allowance - he takes me to concerts, we stay in expensive hotels, and we go to the best restaurants (and he's my age!) He's pretty wealthy so he likes to treat me to the best experiences. He knows how to have fun and always opens doors for me :) He gets excited when I dress sexy but not a neccesity. (We'll call him Mr. J for future entries.) Then I have another he is my ex Mr. P, who loves me but knows it's not going to happen again. He spoils me and takes me out, if I ask for money he gives it to me. But nevertheless, how is that any different?
Eh still, my best friends disagree...close friends either agree or say do you, but be safe. So for me it is my life and safety is sooo important...I have a baby boy to live for. Which is kinda why I started this.
I was in college and after changing my majors a couple times, I had accumulated a huge student loan debt and no degree. Money ran out and I had to come back home. I fell in love with a couple guys - one of which is my son's father. He and are are soooo over, but I will always love him. I got my heart broken sooo bad. I definitely am done with being mistreated and getting hurt. Why put myself through that? My main focus is my son. He is the ONLY man for me (yes, I said man - this infant is far more mature than some of these jokers!)
So I just stopped dating this guy not too long ago who was broke (which is fine, but no dates = no relationship). I don't know how much more of regular dating I can take. I've seen so many guys who don't know what the word "chilvary" means! I want a TRUE gentleman! Someone who can take me out and show me a good time without feeling pressured or like I have to be commited to them. I really don't want a commitment right now. I'm a sweetheart and I know SDs are not out to break my heart - the TRUE ones that is. And I happen to like busy guys - I'm too busy for clingyness! I want a truly mutually beneficial relationship. And well let's be honest - if it's right then definitely romance, but I'm not just giving myself away honey! I want financial assistance so I can finish school and make a life for my son and I - and of course what's wrong with dating a few guys along the way? No strings attached of course!
